Why I Prefer To Wear T-Shirts?

Given an opportunity, I choose to wear t-shirts for several reasons. The first one is they are more comfortable to wear. Even my friends like wearing t-shirts because it gives them some kind of fashion statement. Whenever we go out, you often see us wearing this type of apparel. Even my wife prefers wearing t-shirt.

Incidentally, my wife is going to celebrate her birthday in three months time but this early I decided to shop around for possible gifts. One weekend on my way home, I came across this shop selling all kinds of promotional t-shirts women. I personally liked the designs as well as the different colors.

On the next rack, I saw different varieties of silk screened t-shirts. My wife does not like anything made from silk screen so I was absolutely sure that she would not like it. So I decided to move on and proceed to the next rack.

The next rack featured t-shirts with custom logo. Like the promotional t-shirts, the neon colors got my attention. They were not too light and pleasant to the eyes.

It was almost dark and I was too tired after a hectic day at the office. I decided to call it a day and resume my gift hunting some other time.

The Day For Women

Last year, my girl friends and I wanted to join the international women’s day parade. But we had a major problem: we don’t have much money. We were still in college back then, and we can’t afford to spend too much.

What we wanted was to get more people (especially women) involved in the parade. We talked to all the people we know, but a lot of them were not really into walking a couple of blocks in the midday sun. We were quite surprised of how people reacted to our invitation. It seemed like they were not interested at all in recognizing women’s day.

My friends and I had a talk and we decided that we should at least let the people know the event. But then again, we had little money. We can’t afford expensive promotional materials.

Somebody then suggested that he knew of someone who makes promotional custom t-shirts. She said that personalized shirts are not at all expensive and she’ll try to get discounts from the supplier. We then agreed to order them, just to get things started.

We ordered promotional custom long-sleeved t-shirts and promotional custom short-sleeved t-shirts. We designed a simple statement of international women’s day and had it delivered a couple of days later. We walked around town and around campus to give out the free shirts and at the same time inviting the people to join the parade. All our promotional materials were given out. I was a bit excited on the day itself. With all the stuff that we gave out, I expected that more people will join the parade.

I was right. More people joined the parade, with a lot of them wearing our promotional shirts. I never thought that that will happen. I even saw a lot of people watching on the sidewalk wearing our t-shirts.

Well at least, even if they did not know of the parade, they recognized the occasion.
